The day before Rosh Chodesh is always an auspicious time for Tefillot. Rabbi Laniado was advised by Hagaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky shlita to make a “Yom Kippur Katan” on the last day of the month and recite the customary prayers. Before Rosh Chodesh Sivan, the month of Matan Torah, the rabbi decided to utilize the opportunity and hold a “Yom Iyun”, a seminar, about living the life of Torah. Hagaon Rabbi David Yosef shlita, Chief rabbi of Har Nof graced us with his presence as well as Rabbi Maxi Sutton and Rabbi Shmuel Baron. The Yeshiva also went to the Kever of Shmuel Hanavi for the Hilula. The inspirational speakers and the uplifting atmosphere made a deep impact and we hope that this will prepare us all for the holy day of Shavuot.
