Chacham Ezra Dayan married off his daughter this week, on the same night that the Americans in Israel held their Siyum Hashas. His doting students and admirers knew that for Rabbi Dayan there is nothing more important than learning Torah and celebrating its completion. Yet, they also would never miss a simcha with their special Rebbe. So, they did both! The wedding hall and the auditorium where the Siyum took place happened to be (with Hashgacha Pratit, as Rabbi Dayan would surely point out) down the block from each other and boys traversed back and forth to both wonderful celebrations. We wish a Mabrouk to Rabbi Dayan and his family!
