SPECIAL LUNCH IN HONOR OF THE BAT AYIN

The yeshiva held aspecial lunch for the yartzeit/azkarah of Rabbi Avraham Dov Auerbach, the ‘Bat Ayin’. The meal was later followed by berachot, tefillot and the lightingof candles led by Rabbi Dayan. Rabbi Avraham Dov Auerbach of Avritch (1765-1840)was a disciple of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev and the first two Rebbes ofthe Chernobyl dynasty. He was a Rebbe in Europe for forty years and then moved to the holy city of Tzefat for another ten. He wrote a famous book titled BatAyin. He did not merit to have children. There is a special segulah that whoever arranges a special meal in his memory on his yartzeit/azkarah(12 Kislev) will merit open salvations, shidduchim and children. Oneshould also like a candle and study from his sefer Bat Ayin. http://ascentofsafed.com/cgi-bin/ascent.cgi?Name=avritsch-bio, https://www.hidabroot.org/article/215082
