Every year on the first night of Chanukah, we take our boys to the homes of some of the great Tzaddikim of the generation. Its an opportunity to show the boys a different type of “light”. After having lit the Menorah, we visit some of the generations greatest Torah luminaries who light up the world in their own way. This year, we had the zechut to meet Harav Yaakov Hillel shlita, the Rosh Yeshiva of Ahavat Shalom and Harav Moshe Tzadka shlita. As always, they greeted us warmly and addressed the boys, offering divrei Bracha. Sitting in such close proximity of such distinguished men of stature washumbling, and hearing their lessons of inspiration was an absolute privilege. We hope that we will all take their eternal lessons to heart with their saintly images etched in our minds
